About Chicago Singles Mixers

Chicago Singles Mixers are a series of after-work happy hour get-togethers for single professionals in their 30s-50s throughout greater Chicago. By creating an exciting, energy-filled party atmosphere, the mood is conducive for single professionals to meet, converse and enjoy themselves in a laid-back party atmosphere. These events take place weekly on either a Wednesday or a Thursday, and are hosted by Friends of Friends Singles Events, Ltd.

The principals in our organization (FOF Singles Events) are your hosts for Chicago Singles Mixers. All have solid backgrounds as well as long and active histories in planning and organizing successful singles events:

Jim “Senny” Senhauser - Managing Director is a long-time advocate for singles issues and events. Senny is the President of the Gourmet Advocates Singles Dining and Social Club, one of the largest and most successful in this area. He also has a background in publishing, marketing and new product development, and is a writer. Senny’s columns on singles’ attitudes and issues will soon be featured in our Dateline: Chicago newsletter and the www.SinglesNotebook.com weekly blogging Web site.

Carl Faulkner - Business Director has been involved in a number of singles groups over the past 20 years and has been especially active in Friends of Friends. Carl’s previous background includes opening and managing his own restaurant. Later, he launched a mail-order gourmet coffee business and managed several other businesses. He will handle the business affairs for SD-USA.
